One of the reasons that Warspite went to the breakers (reluctantly) relatively quickly was that the quality of her armour was higher than other WW1 ships and hence she raised more money.

Supposedly, one of the local indoor ranges here has cruiser armor as the backstops. I have no way of verifying this atm.

Sweden reused old shiparmour in the Tre Kronor cruisers. I suppose that was from necessity, as armour production was limited and army also had demands.
